Prime summer weeks at The Saltaire are now nearly sold out — Prime summer availability at The Saltaire is now extremely limited, with only a handful of peak-season weeks still remaining. Our luxury Duck, NC vacation home books far in advance each year, and the remaining 2026 summer dates are expected to fill quickly. If you are considering a summer OBX vacation, we strongly encourage reserving soon before the final weeks are gone.
Last-minute specials and reduced rates may still be available on select open weeks. Military discounts and small-group discounts are also available. Feel free to text, call, or email anytime with questions or for the best direct-booking pricing.
We also offer our sister property, the beautiful Sunnybank Estate — a private oceanfront 6-bedroom estate located in the exclusive 4WD beaches of Corolla, NC, famous for its wild horses, wide beaches, and unforgettable sunsets. Flexible dates may still be available at Sunnybank for guests looking for a unique Outer Banks experience.
Our Vacation Rentals Policies and Rules
Rates include full private access to all of The Saltaire’s amenities and outdoor spaces, including the private pool, hot tub, putting green, playground, elevator, arcade room, game room, bar area, and entire property grounds.
The home comfortably accommodates up to 12 adults and 2 children. Beds are made prior to arrival, and one set of bath towels per guest is provided.
Reservations: Direct bookings may be split into 2, 3, or 4 installment payments for added flexibility and convenience
Check-In: begins after 4 PM the day of your arrival.
Early Check-In is gladly accommodated whenever possible. Don’t hesitate to ask! If you arrive earlier on the island, you are welcome to drop your bags and hit the beach. We are happy to suggest a local spot if you are hungry after your travels.
Check-Out is by 10 AM.
Late Check-Out requests are accommodated whenever possible, at the discretion of the owner.
Many families reserve their favorite summer week 6–12 months in advance. Remaining prime-season availability is limited.

RENTAL POLICY
Credit card # to hold reservation. Half down with lease. 2nd half required 60 days prior to rental. Payments can be arranged by quarters if preferred. We also accept Pay Pal or Personal Checks. NO WIRE TRANSFERS. No matter who you are renting from if they are requesting a Wire Transfer you are probably getting scammed.
NOTES
Well Behaved Salty Dogs possibly permitted for an additional charge of $150 per dog. Max allowed, 2. Heated pool weather permitting $480 per week. October until May we will make every effort to customize our dates to fit your schedule. SMOKING PERMITTED OUTSIDE ONLY.
